Hair Care

Cleanse

Avoid products containing protein, as they can cause breakage in hair extensions.

Gently brush out any tangles before getting into the shower.

Use a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner.

Brush

Never brush directly over the seam or top of the wefts, as this can lead to breakage.

Since extensions do not produce natural oils, we recommend applying a lightweight hair oil before brushing.

Section your hair gently, holding it near the weft, and brush from the bottom up, working through each section carefully.

Blow Dry

We do not recommend letting your hair extensions air dry it will cause hair extensions to tangle and mat.

Start by towel drying to remove excess moisture.

Gently squeeze your hair with the towel .

Do not rub, as this causes tangling.

Once your extensions are about 50% dry, you can begin blow drying.

Use a round brush with minimal tension to smooth and finish drying.

Do not air dry Aurora extensions. The wefts must be completely dry to prevent scalp irritation and tangling.

Bedtime Care

Brush your extensions before bed, then secure your hair in a loose bun using a soft scrunchie.

For extra protection, use a silk scarf, silk pillowcase, or silk bonnet to minimize friction and prevent tangling.

Hair extensions should be oiled daily as they do not receive natural oil from your scalp.

Beach and Poolside Care

Always wear your hair up while heading to the pool.

We do not recommend swimming in the ocean or pools with your Aurora extensions.

Saltwater and chlorine can severely tangle and damage extensions.

Non-mineral SPF can stain extensions, and blondes are especially prone to staining.

Only use mineral based sunscreen the two ingredients to stay clear of when picking a sunscreen are avobenzone and octocrylene.
